Karen founded Bright Spark Electrical Services in 2004. The business has a team of 6 and provides domestic and commercial electrical services in the Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks areas.

Karen approached Chip25 as, even though her business is successful, she is continually working exceptionally long hours and can rarely take a break from the business.

Having joined our Masterplan programme, Karen has worked her way through the first 3 steps in the Masterplan journey. With our help she now has a clearer understanding of her business numbers. She has recruited Harriet – her office administrator. “Everyone needs a Harriet” you can hear Karen say.

With the implementation of business scorecards, trackers and a streamlining of the business, Karen has seen revenue grow, profits increase and is now on a recruitment drive.

Her development of a video based knowledge centre on her website is a remarkable resource. The number of business reviews places her head and shoulders above her competitors.
